Access Therapy Centre

Here at the Access Therapy Centre we believe that everyone has the right to wellness and balance. Dan has over 30 years of experience in pastoral counselling and clinical counselling. In his integrative approach to psychotherapy, he has researched extensively on the subjects of spiritual therapy, life coaching and personal wholeness. He is also passionate about the healing of traumatic memories.

Dan is known as a skilled professional who is able, through interaction, to intuitively understand his clients’ conditions and work with them towards the solutions they seek. Often, emotional and physical pain is resolved from the inside out. His seminars on the subject of spiritual and emotional wholeness have been held in various locations across North America, Europe, Africa and Australia. He speaks on issues related to cross-cultural differences, marital conflict, anger management, depression, anxiety and other fear-based emotions. His training and experience have qualified him to provide counselling on issues related to past trauma.

Dan has certificates in Biofeedback and Neurofeedback for the treatment of anxiety, addiction, eating disorders and other stress-related conditions. He is also trained in the use of DNMS (Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy) for overcoming trauma and depression; logotherapy (Meaning based therapy)  as well as Conflict Management and Negotiation. He also uses virtual reality for gradual exposure therapy for phobia and P.T.S.D related issues.

what we are doing

Our services and features

In order to initiate the change we desire for our lives, we need to give ourselves the permission to take the first steps to finding help.

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a condition that is characterised by hyperactivity, impulsivity, restlessness and inattentiveness.

The majority of couples seeking the intervention of a therapist for their relationship are motivated by emotional pain and frustration.

Anger Management

My approach to anger management is non-judgmental. I do not impose the issue of self-control on my clients, because anger is not a primary emotion.

As a relationship counsellor my primary goal is to help the couple to re-connect with each other as quickly as possible.

I work with young children identified as having learning difficulties, (ADD), (ADHD), oppositional defiant disorder, or antisocial personality disorder. Each child is unique, and presents different needs.
